Unless you re master shisha craftsman you won't be able to do it well. You can mix in fruit, and get the flavors, that is what is done traditionally, but you can't just chop up a bunch of apricots and pour some glycerin and honey on them and smoke that. You will burn the fruit faster then you would think, there is still an amount of moisture in dried fruit. I would stick to tobacco, or maybe our fellow member Hajo knows some good recipes he's seen or tried or made that involve using real fruit.
