I don't think they use molasses at all, I think it's actually water-based with glycerine and maybe honey. Nakhla Zag might contain actual molasses though. Nakhla Zag in a way is unflavored Tangiers. So is Salloum Plain. If Tangiers went unflavored, it would most likely taste like Salloum Plain, which, if not acclimated, smells like BBQ sauce.
