yea, the coals most likely contain imperfections, much worse than exoticas old coals. Not to mention the fact that the density of each coal will greatly vary causing uneven heat distribution. I would only try those coals if i were on a treeless, lifeless island and i randomly had 50g of Starbuzz on me and a hookah with a large phunnel and a scalli mod.

edit: and battery powered hotplate to light them
