Good comments from everyone! In regards to what Shushynes" comments here is some info about starting out with more traditional style moasssel.
If you are like 99% of narghile fans you mostly have only smoked mod style stuff from the gulf states or the U.S. (or if you are outside you U.S. you've likely tired mode stuff from Germany or France) so here is how you get into what I "the good stuff" gently.
First go get some Zaghloul, Cleopatra or Salloum plain and then get honey of vanilla flavoured Al Waha or Hookah-Hookah or Hookah-Hookah cavendish and a little bit of molasses.
Next, get your hands good and wet and get small chunk of what is likely to be dried out Zaghloul and brea it up in a little finger bowl. Take care to throw out the stems and rinse your hands regularly. Once the Zaghloul (or what ever) is broken up fully drizzle in just enough molasses to make the tobacco feel moistand make sure your fingers stay

When you smoke draw slowly and savor the taste. Don't bother try to make clouds and just concintrate on the flavours. Wait a good 15 or 20 seconds between draws. Drink lots of water, tea or coffe and eat some fruit while you smoke (apple works best for me).
The key thing is to pay attention to all the subtle flavours and note just how different it is then mod moassel. Look it like a good wine/ale and you'll get more out of it.
