Looks at all this heat management and packing lol Take small Egyptian bowl sprinkle nakhla in to just below rim foil the bowl single layer hd foil Poke 7 holes with toothpick 1 in center and 6 around midway between center and rim make sure to push the toothpick to the bottom of the bowl light one QL 33 mm Al Waha wait for it to ash over place on bowl and smoke soon clouds and flavor will rush over you lasts for about close to an hour on the small bowl no moving or ashing when the smoke thins out the coal should be done and the nakhla as easy as that.

Works for me and have not had a harsh smoke yet from burning just purge regularly to get rid of stale smoke
