Hey good for you man, you're trying new stuff and venturing off the fruity reservation so more power to you!
You are right that no single method exists for doing anything. From what I have seen of the rural Middle East/Central Asia people smoke mostly tombac and when they do smoke moassel or jurak they are much more likely to use a screen then foil. But you are right that a single way of doing things is not best for all. My method is just something that works for black moassel that has been sitting around for too long which is a little different then how it is out East.
Anyhow, give both ways a shoot and tell me how it works. Also if you have question about set up I can give you pointers or what ever.
