i have started to like the coconut style coal a lot better, it takes a bit of time to get used to them i think but they are better to me (no cutting, grainer ash so it doesnt go EVERY WHERE, lasts a bit longer)
next time you order i would give the CH coals or ccns a try, just for s's and g's if for nothing else
since then exotica has developed a new "formula" for their coals...they don't break apart wierd anymore (when you score them like in sambookas video), all the ash comes off when you want it to, it's a heavier ash, and they last about the same time as coconut coals. they light really fast with a windcover and a coil stove.
the only bad part about exoticas is that they still smell horrible then lighting up. i light all my coals outside, so it's not a problem
