Re: Hungarian Water Pipes
Good comments so far on this mystery.
After a lot talking to the dad of one of the fellows I worked with in Pecs i've concluded that the pipes I mentioned are found throughout the Baltics and parts of Eastern Europa. Apparently they are used with pip tobacco although a variant exists for use with moassel that apparently popped up in the 1880s. Apparently they are used these day in countries that used to make Yugoslavia but beyond that I've not found much.
Do we have anyone from the Balkans at HP? What do the Hungarian posters know about this topic?
