i would go as far as to say that lighting natural coals inside is probably a bad idea too.

you cannot see or smell carbon monoxide. get a meter and youll be extremely surprised of the levels emitted.

i have definitely noticed that even outside i get CO headaches from some quick lights that can go away and come back the next day as soon as i start smoking.

ive always said that the charcoal is the worst part of the hookah smoking experience health wise and i believe its worse than what people currently think. the CO poisoning is only 1 aspect; what else youre breathing in is probably another.

for the most part, i stick to golden canaries. very low CO output, no big amount of accelerants, quick light up, dont get headaches or feel ill, etc.
