I disagree with the first part of that statement. The Amer certainly is not a solid brass hookah and the AF uses thick walled cast brass segments with hollow interiors. Whether or not that makes it "solid" is up to you but IMO the Temsaah is what should define the term "solid brass hookah". FWIW the 1st and 2nd gen AF large solids are lighter than the Temsaah Dahab Alaim (aka World Cup) despite being 6" larger and the AF medium solids are slightly lighter than the Mya 22" Bohemian stems (brass heart, aluminum everything else).
If you are still interested in the AF or Temsaah and if John is unable to get more of them at the moment, the AFs can also be found at Hookah-Shisha or Al Fakher Online and the entire line of available Temsaahs is sold by Hookah Company.
I also recommend Temsaah brass, namely the Wheat, Dahab Alaim, or Shakil (aka Golden Nugget, there is also a double version available) as they are the most brand defining of the Temsaah brass stems IMO. There are other Temsaah brass stems that are good also like the Shamadan or Thaqib but other brands such as KM have versions of those stems as well.
