Just recently I discovered a extremely effective way to thoroughly blow out my hose using my standard vacuum cleaner. I already made a video about it, but I've found it so useful I thought I'd post about it here too.
I have a wet/dry vacuum also which I've found has made it easy to wash out non-washable hoses. Just wash it with lemon juice like you might a washable hose, then use the vacuum method to totally dry out the hose when you're done.
You just need a vacuum with a hose and a small kitchen funnel. Give it a try. I've only been doing it for a short time, but I suspect it can reduce overall ghosting and over time increase the life of the hose in general.
