I just thought I would point out that shisha actually refers to a hookah. For example, a man who runs a local tobacco shop (I believe he is Persian) showed me hookahs when I was talking about his nice selection of shisha. He had some great MZ's though so I didn't mind.

But anyway, yes, old moassel can be revived with application of either honey or molasses (whichever it was made with) and a tiny amount of glycerin. There's info on how to do this here so definitely look around. And be sure if its molasses based to grab a non-sulphur molasses.
