hay guys you have all missed one major thing. charcoal is carbon and all carbon is conductive in some way or another. though it be minicule amount of conductivity it is. And most of us are aware of what happens when we put metal in the microwave. So as many have said on this thread already just DON'T do it!! I know you are all saying almost everything has carbon it but pure carbon is actually quite conductive. hell they use carbon as conductors in many things from smelting pots to spot welders and certain forms of EDM cutters. So once again dont hurt your self home or microwave and JUST DONT DO IT.
