I got out the candy oils and added a bit of clove and a bit more vanilla to a second batch and the result is really amazing. I can definitely taste the dokha and the flavours are pretty complicated with nothing really dominating. One of the better home made batches I've made. Obviously this is not a smoke for people that want a candied type product but if you like Desi Merli or the black stuff made by Salloum or Nakhla but want something more complicated then give what I did a shot.
