What everyone else said. Nakhla may need revitalization through some glycerin or something though.
The expiration dates on food is actually the sell by date. They food is still plenty good and will still be fine and edible long after that date passes. Long enough for it to be consumed at an average rate. It's the last day that they can legally SELL it to a customer.
