Default Not the usual Phunnel Bowl Problem

I have the cheap-ass Havana Phunnel from Hookah-Shisha ( and i avoided the spire problem by using a paperclip.

But, the big problem is that the damn hole on the bottom of the bowl is so wide that it slips right over my grommet (the big white ones).

I tried some of the things suggested on here like using electrical tape to make the grommet fatter and it worked great until halfway through the bowl, i looked at my computer for 2 minutes, and the bowl toppled over onto my rug, coals burning straight through.

So what i'm asking is if anyone has had problems like this, how can i avoid this from happening again?

It seems like the bowl is fine at first when the grommet is nice and firm but as soon as it heats up, the bowl starts leaning.
