The cinnamon was a task, I must say. the outside of the bark of the stick tends to not be as flavorful as the inside. I tried soaking it in warm water to get it to loosen up so i could turn inside out and get at the flavors, but i just ended up cutting it into 1/4's and the aroma is as strong as I think it needs to be
