I'm with this crowd, though usually I just end up smoking one bowl (which I usually define more by when my set of coals burns out). MH, you might want to check out Japanese style coals... they usually last half an hour a round or so when I use them. I usually go long enough that it's easier to use regular nats so I don't have to step out to the burner in the middle of the session, but I do prefer the Japanese ones in terms of heat management, ease of lighting, ash, etc
