+1 on the drinking and eating prior to smoking. Keep drinking while smoking. The key is to keep hydrated prior, during and post. If you sit in one position too long, the blood pools in your legs. When you get up, the blood can't return to fast enough, and you experience transient blood pressure drops. When the pressure drops your brain is without O2/blood and you pass out. After you fall to the ground, your BP goes up from the position change and you wake up. Serious injury can result from blacking out (falls). Sorry for the medicine lecture, but I'm an ER RN and Medic. If all else fails, see your primary care provider. I'm sure the first thing he or she will tell you is "smoking is bad for you." LOL
