What I do is I split the disk in half, so they're fully lit after 1-2 minutes on each side on a coil burner. They last about a good hour, they're very dense. Definitely last longer than Exoticas and about as long as Cocobricos.
The other thing about these coals is that the ash is extremely minimal and it sticks to the coal like glue. You have to scrape it off to ash it, but there's really no need for it because there barely is any ash to begin with. When they're all burnt out, they keep the shape of half the disk and you can easily pick them up with your tongs without them breaking down into powder. Like I said, the ash really sticks together!
