Re: To get a new hose or make a new hose?
Some said hoses don't last forever but I saw one today that is getting pretty close. A buddy of mine has a Persian Narghile that dates from the 1860-1880 with a big, very thick leather hose and an amber mouth piece. The amazing thing is that the hose is original ans while looks none too good it smokes great. Of course the thing has been well stored and used with caution (not to mention being fix a lot) but i'm blown away nonetheless.
For everyone not so lucky to have such a rig I guess i'd say stick with the cheap AF & H-S hoses.
