shouldnt have any in standard plumbing copper, you have to heat it up to a good 600-900* to sweat (solder) the pipes in. also there are plenty of copper pots or copper bottomed pots and they reach pretty high temps with not issues
pure copper, most steels (except galvanized), aluminum, brass should all be good to go. i wouldnt used galvanized since the zinc, when heated, turns to a gas and is really really bad, probably not hot enough in a hookah but zinc fumes are not something play with., all the other metals need such a high temp to melt that it should be good.
