My friend, I have had that same problem. Try doing this...pack the bowl much lighter, only sprinkle the shisha around in there, and leave a little bit of space between the rim of the bowl and the start of the shisha. Next, I understand you are using Golden Coals and they are pretty big. Try breaking one in half and put each half on each side of the bowl. NEVER put your coal in the center, that should be the last place on your mind to put the coal. This should solve your problem, and also try using two layers of foil as suggested above. I think the main problem is your shisha is touching the foil and you are generating too much heat with your coal at dead center of the bowl, thus burning the shisha. I hope this helps
