I dont think the fact that you're alone or in a group stops you from getting buzzed or contributes to the buzz in any way. If you were to space our your hits similar to how you would if you were passing the hose around, you're less likely to feel a buzz because the nicotine doesnt become concentrated in your blood. Plus, when you're in a group, you're talking more, being forced to breath more often than you would just relaxed and alone.
