Default Re: Props to John at ******* Hookah

I should update that hole pattern that i use. I have actually strayed away from that as it's really great for start up but not too long lasting. I always try different ones now, but mainly I like to use an Egyptian clay bowl, poke a hole with a toothpick thru the center hole and the other 4-5 holes outside the center of the bowl. It's important for airflow. Then just a circle if tiny holes on the outer edge, where you will be placing your coals. It has been working best for me, and it you are having trouble getting to the outer holes with a toothpick, you can always try from the opposite end with a skewer or something else long enough. Thanks for the props! The best hole pattern is the one that works best for you and it's good to mix it up a bit.
