Default Re: 2 questions from my wife and I

An open common heart/smoke chamber has a single piece casting that has the inlets to the hose and purge valve running completely exposed with no internal tubing. Take a look at a star gate, cheap Myas and lots of generic Chinese POSs to see what I mean.

Egyptian made narghiles typically use a closed chamber where the linlets to the hose and purge valve are connected by a small length of tubing that are seperate from the rest of the smoke chamber. Take a look at a KM, MZ, Al Ashrey or Shisha King to see what I mean.

Most Syrians have an closed heart/smoke chamber with 2 or 4 holes drilled into the bottom plate and no tubing connecting the hose inlet or purge valve to the chamber it self.

I prefer the latter.
