your absolutely right! I always suggest that people explore mediteranean food as part of a healthy diet. The emphasis on high protein lean meats, olive oils, nuts, and beans is not only healthy, but very versatile. There are a million things you can do with the wide range of choices offered in this style of cooking.
fingerfoods are great while smoking also. I like some grape leaves, pickled mango, or just some pita w/hummus and olive oil.
