Really cool tip for cleaning mould/etc from inside bases you

I had little bits of mould or something in the bottom of my bell vase that I couldnt get out with a brush so I used this method to fantastic effect!
Give your base a few rinses with warm water then put a cup of dry rice into it, put some lemon juice in there and swirl it round several times; it will remove all spots of mould and stuff from inside. Works an absolute treat =]

Well I dont know it was mould but there were spots of some sort of stuff in there :P Maybe because Ive left the water in there after a smoke for a couple days once or twice? Still, gone now!

It was more likely build up from the smoke if the longest you have ever left your base is a couple days with just water in it.

Dont know bout that, it was right in the bottom edges...meh!

my hookah had some stuff on the bottom edges as well. no worries i just used lemon juice and sea salt and it got it right out

You would know if it was mold. You will never mistake that smell.

True...didnt think about the smell...it didnt smell so maybe not mould...regardless - whatever it was is gone now :P

Salt is used for the same purpose the rice is. Abrasion to scour a hard to reach area.
