The downfalls to bringing your hookah to parties.

Many have done it, let's hear some:
-People tug on the hoses
-People tangle the hoses
-The dreaded moving table
-Drunk people and hot coal... lets not think too hard
-The know it-alls who try to school you on school when you obviously know what your doing, with your OWN hookah
-The idiotic questions of putting things that AREN'T water in the base

I feel ya buddy. That's why I have my poopy Egy hookah for traveling purposes and friends' houses, and my KM for home when only I can touch it, lol

I had a guy tell me to put more water in the vase because the smoke, to water ratio was off and made the smoke harsh. Uh, sir, do you not know the mechanics of a hookah? sit down.

Even with my shitty hookah I bring out at parties I still keep it in the back room away from the drunkards. Even then it has still been knocked over numerous times and people can't help but to try and give the worst advice, like putting all milk in the vase and putting no foil on.

Yes! I've had at least 5 people trying to persuade me to add illegal grass(haha you know what I mean) to my shisha.

people like that are the reason i can't smoke around my dad. he thinks that all hookah smokers are like that

Folks saying that their chinese hookah is better than my KM.

People trying to tell me that QLs are better than my Naturals

The WORST was a gal who had a mouthful of tequila and spit that down my hose. RUINED it.

when a little an annoying emo posser also brings a hookah and talks his set up through the roof, a little chinese model with starbuzz orange packed in an orange bowl with orange juice in the base and tries to act like i know nothing because my set up is different and i dont use quicklights. then i whip out 2 kms and pack up some nakhla da in one and hf sweet tang in the other and light up some coco's, then 20 minutes later i have an emo kid death staring me, and i have to fight people off to smoke my own hookahs.

that or when some random dude tells me "I could so totally charge for this" and make a killing.

-dude pulled on hookah outside on concrete (during BBQ) and it tipped over and base shattered.
-people telling u how to pack your bowl when they don't even know the different types; vortex, phunnel, Egyptian, etc..
-telling you there isn't enough water in the base.
-idiots trying to put four coals on top of the shisha with out foil..and not packing it correctly.

I also hate these people. they don't want to wait for naturals, that's their only excuse for saying QL's are better, they don't understand the construction or mechanics involved in a hookah, thus, don't understand why a KM is better than a MYA, and because they don't understand naturals, they always think there are supposed to be more coals. this is why I started smoking alone, either just me, or my girlfriend and I, occasionally another hookah smoking friend of mine. girlfriend doesn't even try to adjust anything about my rig, or mess with my KM

The only really bad thing I've experienced is literally EVERYONE at parties I go to, when I'm lighting my coals on my coil burner comes up "you know you can light those with a lighter right?" I'm just like "here, go for it" and hand them a coal and a lighter, they understand pretty quick that it takes a little more than that with naturals

I had the run in with the "dude i know how to do this let me do it" situation and i layed down the law pretty quick. I taught my friends to handle and run a session so now i sit back and they do all of the work. Set your friends straight and be willing to work with them, it will pay off in the long run. The rest has never happened to me, if your too drunk to be around a hookah without breaking it then your no where near it or out of the house

so one time i was gunna smoke with this guy and i was gunna have him put the hookah together. well it does take so force to put the stem in the base (otherwise it wouldn't be that airtight) the guy asks if i have any sex lube he can borrow to help get it in (yes i know "that;s what she said")

For me. It's looking like an a-hole because my KM, vortex bowl, nammor hoses, and naturals. Destroy their Chinese mod hookah, with the ghosted non washable hoses, and holland quicklights (Not to mention these were the guys who first got me into hookah lol. )
