"Tangiers Standard"???

Okay so I'm toward the end of my "Tangiers Standard" (labeled by hookah company) Maraschino Cherry 94. I hear people talk about all the types of Tangiers and no one says standard. I really like this stuff and was wondering if this was the Noir or any of the other names I have heard. I know it's unwashed and black in color. Any guesses on which line it really is?

Standard, Noir, Original line, The best, Yellow Label....all synonymous.

If the label that it came in is Yellow, then it's the Noir Line.
If the label was a pale burgangy/brick-like color, then it's the Lucid Line.

I believe those Maraschino Cherry was only produced for those two lines.

If your tobacco needed acclimation, then it was in fact the Noir line. If it smoked well right out of the package with little to no off-scent, then it was the Lucid line.

I feel that the color of the package is the better way of deciding what line it is..

I have never needed to acclimate tangiers. Whether it be Noir, Lucid, or Birquq. I know i'm not the only one either. Just a little added tidbit. ha

Yup, Noir.

And I've never had to acclimate any of the tangiers line either, I just choose to do it
