Default Packing method and flavor

are packing methods and flavor related? for example do you get more flavor out of a tightly packed bowl in a phunnel compared to a fluff pack in a phunnel? etc.

the general concept is:

the tighter the pack:

the harder the draw
the more heat tolerant it is
the more flavor but at the cost of puffy white clouds

the losser the pack:

easier draw
super heat sensitive
HUGE clouds
intense flavor for about 40 min, then just big clouds

As a general guideline this is true but it really depends more on the brand when it comes to packing IMO. I get bigger clouds with social smoke dense packed than I do with DM or nakhla loose packed in the same bowl but I get more flavor from
Nakhla and DM usually

well im using a crown classic micro phunnel so i dont know the packing dense would affect the draw. i was just wondering if the air that is drawn through the holes would penetrate the shisha more and bring out the flavor more if it was loosely packed rather than dense but packing dense seems like it would give alot of flavor. ill have to try it out and see

I'd just use crowns guide to using the classic, dense pack up to the holes and poke the holes all the way through the shisha, you should get great clouds from almost any shisha
