Brand and Flavor: Ba'ashn Red

Shisha Cut: Fairly fine; lots of baked molasses in this

Hookah Type: KM trimetal

Duration: To be determined but it's so good I'll keep it going until I can't stand it anymore

Bowl: Saudi-style Egyptian bowl

Foil / Screen: 3 layers of regular foil

Coal / Amount: Started with two Coconara's, didn't get much smoke, just added a third and now it's working well (with a windcover.)

Smoke: What would be expected from a traditional tobacco, not much in the way of clouds but a lot of taste nonetheless.

Buzz: I'm not the person to ask about buzz. It's a low to moderate buzz for me but would probably floor other people.

Smell / Flavor: The smell from the bag from highest to lowest goes Molasses, fig, cedar/spices

The flavor is absolutely phenomenal, I taste a lot of the fig, cedar, and spices plus the sweetness of the molasses and it blends together wonderfully.

Rating (1 to 10): For traditional tobacco lovers this is a must buy. A 10/10 would mean it's perfect so I won't rate it perfect but I'd say 9.3-9.7 area. About as close to perfect as any tobacco I've tasted. I think even the people who smoke the one dimensional American flavors would enjoy this a lot.

Brand and Flavor: Ba'ashn Red Jurak

Shisha Cut: very fine cut, moist and very molasses sticky

Hookah Type: Brass Syrian

Duration: 1 hour

Bowl: Unglazed small Syrian bowl

Foil / Screen: steel screen (not crappy aluminum screen)

Coal / Amount: 3 coco cubes

Smoke: thin smoke at first, some what thicker lingering smoke later

Buzz: very very mild buzz

Smell / Flavor: in the package strong dark molasses smell with predominate smell of cedar and a dusty floral spicy note. As bowl was heating the thin smoke was extremely tasty. Reminded me of the scent of a well seasoned cigar humidor when you open the lid. As the bowl progressed the slightly sweet cedar notes were joined with the dark molasses taste and some floral spices. Towards the end of the bowl when it had really picked up the heat the baking of the molasses lent a tasty dark coffee taste that really went well with the cedar. The after taste reminded me of the lingering aroma of a quality incense.

Rating (1 to 10): I personally would rate this a 10/10. The taste is like nothing ive had before and it is a league all its own. I would highly recommend this Jurak and will stock up on it when Bassem has more available. If this is just a hint of the other Juraks to come I am ecstatic with anticipation!
