Default Learning coco nara coals?

I've recently been trying out coco nara coals, I'm so used to the quick lights but wanted to try something new..however I can't get them to produce alot of smoke and I feel like they die so quickly..ive tried using 2 and also tried using 3. I have a large bowl, just a standard Egyptian clay bowl..i want to use them more but I feel like I am wasting them by experimenting! Does anybody have any tips?

How do you light them? Coconut coals are ready to use when they are fully lit, covered with a thinnest layer of grey ash. When used correctly, they are an almost immeasurable improvement over quick lights.

First off, 2 to 3 coco coals if they are flats per bowl with HD foil for me.
Secondly CocoNaras have gone to poo, try something like Ecocha, Prestige bubbles, CocoEarth or Superior

when you say they die, do you mean they black out and go cold or do you mean waist away to ash to quickly?

Eh, i still use and sell naras. Havent experienced a bad batch in awhile.

Gnome is right, of course, with regard to Ecocha, etc. Fine coals. But if Naras are the only nats you have access to, follow Gidros advice and add a wind cover to manage heat and you’ll be golden.

^^^
Ps: naughty gnome, mentioning a product of a banned Vendor. Tsk tsk.

Yup

Can’t forget about Ultimates, Black Diamond, and while I’m not a huge fan of their tobacco starbuzz’s cocobuzz coals are very good as well.

Also if it seems the your coals are having issue lighting then it is possible they were exposed to some moisture and are holding onto it. You can usually fix this by spreading some of the coals on a baking sheet and heating them in the oven at 200 degrees for 5 - 10 minuets.
