Default What is your favorite mixer?

Obviously most will say mint or vanilla. I'm not looking for typical mixers.

One mixer I find I started really liking is the X On The Beach and Pirate's Cave from Starbuzz. I find they work with almost any Starbuzz, Nak, or AF flavor.

What do you think?

AF chocolate and cinnamon is pretty good. Tangiers Horchata and Romman Turkish Coffee is also good.

I mix welsh cream with a lot of stuff, I mix nak cinnamon with a lot of stuff and DM clove compliments a lot of flavours nicely.

AF Arena line Speed is a great citrus mixer.

I second this, I forget I have it, but it can tone things down and add a great deep note to sweeter tobaccos.

Try (I'll probably get told off for this but..) Starbuzz Winterfresh. It's an intense mint but with a slight chemically taste that by itself isn't great but when mixed can put a nice twist on flavours.

Ah yes, a wonderful chemically taste makes for a great smoking session. For an even better experience add some chlorine to your base water.

I like AF cinnamon both as a mixer and by itself. Lately ive been mixing cane mint with alot of things too. I especially like Little Purple Candy with just a pinch of cane mint for the cooling effect.

Nakhla Mizo grape, you have to be selective but it mixes great with most fruity flavors. Either as a filler or something to mellow out the more intense fruit flavors. Also with mint... hell yeah!

I love starbuzz arabian coffe mixed with blueberry but specifically vanilla. Throw some milk in the vase and you've got a sweet creamy coffee taste.

I mixed blueberry muffin and orange cream the other night and it created this carrot cake flavor that some may like and others hate.

I keep a jar of "spice accord" on hand- cinnamon, cardamom, clove, and sometimes little leftover bits of things like ginger get thrown into the mix. Works nicely with fruit flavors (like apricot, peach, apple, etc), vanilla, coffee flavors, honey, chocolate, rose, etc-

Sounds yummy
I like Aegean spice by Othmani a lot, it goes well with citrus flavors for me.

I've been mixing Hookafina's Electric Lotus as a floral mixer for a long time. It's super light, but really refreshing.

I particularly like it when mixing with grape flavors.

Desi Murli Clove and Nakhla S Cinnamon is heavenly and earthy and spice.

I also like Othmani Baklava with a pinch of Nak Sweet Melon - I know that sounds really bizarre but it's just sweet and delicious.

A pinch of Nak Jasmine with AF Vanilla.

Othmani Peach, Nak Cinnamon, Fusion Hazelnut = Peach cobbler. About the only thing Fusion is good for.

JM's Horchata and Taru's Maple, if you can find them. Like eating a cinnamon pancake.

Favorite Mixer:

4 or 5 Lisbon lemons
4 Persian limes
1c sugar
1c water

use a vegetable peeler to cut some strips of zest off a few of the lemons and limes. Just the colored part, not the bitter white pith.

Make a simple syrup with the sugar and water, remove from heat and throw the zest in to steep. add a pinch of salt.

While syrup is cooling, juice the lemons and limes. should be about a cup of lemon juice and a half cup or so of lime juice. If you're using Meyer lemons, you'll need to adjust the balance accordingly.

Once the syrup is cool, stir in the juices and pour through a fine mesh strainer.

depending on the season, you might need to add the juice of half an orange, as well. Balance sweetness accordingly.
