Ok, so : I put 3 coals on the WG2 (with the WG2 no need to rotate/flip coals, or move them) with Exotic X on the Beach from Starbuzz and it's perfect ! Session of 45 minutes/1 hour !

But when I'm smoking Al Fakher Grape.. it's not harsh but the taste isn't good.. I don't know why..

So I'm gonna switch to Starbuzz even if it's hard to find in'France, Paris..

in AF i personally think there grape is awful.

they do some flavors very well.

stand outs for me are.

honey
grapefruit
orange
cardamon
cinnamon
rose
mint
blueberry
double apple
mastic
soft black

ones i avoid from AF

energy drink
cola
fruit cocktail
fresh
bubblegum
grape
anything with cream

taste is personal dont let anyone put you off something you enjoy.

AF also does orange quite well and their pomegranate / grenadine flavors are tasty.

Ok Thanks ! I've always went with AF Grape because I heard it was a "sure" flavor .. but I prefer 10000000000 times the Starbuzz X on the Beach..

I'm looking for a sweet and smooth taste that lasts long enough..

It's delicious. A little heat sensitive but I find most orange flavours to be.

@mattyuk : I smoked Orange with Mint yesterday.. The Orange flavor is too overwhelming ..

I don't know if I really like AF anymore, compare to Starbuzz, or Fumari but once again, these brands are very hard to find in France.

Yep just goes to show you, a good one is the one YOU like. Personally, id rather not smoke than smoke Star Buzz ( with the exception of a couple of flavors from the vintage line)

I have another question : I'm smoking some Al Fakher tobacco; should I cut the tobacco myself or not ?

there is not reason to further cut the tobacco. Just toss it in the bowl tap it down and goood to go.

If u want something cheaper but equally good go for ignis(oduman) or kaya block, truth is i am an ingnis man myself my shisha will not go harsh for 45 minutes then second round will go harsh and i will use 2 coals.. i was a foil guy but cannot go back now since i have the placebo effect maybe that its better with a heat management device but FOR SURE heat management from heat management makes way of a difference i got another hmd with my amy glass set bowl and i dont even wannna try it...

in the freezer, its a great way to drive out any moisture believe it or not.

If you have a bad batch of coals ( that keep going out), you can put them in the oven on low for about an hour to get rid of excess moisture, otherwise just leave em in Their packaging at room tenperature. Save your freezer for steak and ice cream ( i favor rum raisin and Bourbon praline crunch).

Ok thanks ! I tried the freezer the other day, with a zip lock bag but the result wasn’t great so I might did something wrong..

The bad batches piss me off ! You can’t even have a great session ! But by nom, with all your answers my sessions are starting to look like something !

i keep my stock in the basement with a big humidifier constantly running to 40% humidity. I usually keep a full package upstairs for easy access, never had any moisture issues.
