Default Setup MYA QT

Hey guys, so far I've done few sessions with my recently arrived MYA QT 2 Hose. The first time I did it it was astonishingly crazy.... I had the biggest clouds I've ever had when smoking hookah....but the second time I brought my friends over to show them my new "gadget"... the smoke wasn't that thick and the clouds were not that big..it was fair..but not like the first time....well the only things that changed this time is that instead of putting 3 Shishaco coals, I used 2 this time...I don't know if this has anything to do...because I used the same Mixed Fruit Al Amir shisha...I changed it because the MYA Bowl is very small and last time it just fell like the coals didn't fit...

Please tell me if i did wrong or what? thanks!

Well, the problem is with your coals. They are great coals, i use them myself, but on a small mya bowl, 3 is gonna be too many, and 2 might not be enough. Go invest in a windcover, or make one from an arizona iced tea can, or a monster can or something. 2 coals plus a windcover will work great.

2+windcover would do like CGT said, but 3 coals will give it more heat thus the big smoke that you got the first time. I usually use 3-4 coals each session.

Purpose of the windcover is to heat up the bowl faster to roast the shisha plus it helps when smoking outside so the coals don't burn as fast.

Windcovers hold the heat in and focus it around the bowl, thus allowing the smoker to use less coals to keep the bowl properly heated. They are also used outside on breezy days to make sure the wind will not blow coals on anyone. People do use them inside and outside of the house though,

The windcover is amazing, definitely get one. I don't have one for my new hookah and I'm realizing how crappy that is. Can't heat the bowl quickly, have to play around with the coals, and then when they get low you can't put it on to prolong the session.

just get a bfc monster can and cut the bottom off and punch some holes around the side and wahhlaaa you got urself the perfect size windcover for your mya bowl. its a little too small for a medium phunnel though i have to use a one made out of foil on my phunnel bowl.

this

the windcovers that rest atop the bowls like the SSC Taj windcover suck ass they hold in too much heat, do not allow proper airflow and get REALLY hot when you leave them on and you have to keep messing with it (and you have to use tongs...

I made a windcover using a Monster: Dub Edition can (twist off lid) but cutting the bottom out. That's it. Works great, costs <$3.00 USD.
