Default $1.50 and a Starbuzz Can

Bored today and decided to 'craft' a coal holder. I know it is "elaborate" but it's all good. Tell me what you think. Peace.

I've been waiting for someone to say something along the lines of "finally a good use for it" lol. I dig it, and tend to save any 250g tins I get so I'll have to do something like that.

Awesome idea. I would use a Starbuzz can also, or whatever tobbaco tin I have laying around. Mount another on the bottom, drill holes in the lid so that it catches ashes and coals will light quicker.

Thanks. You might want to add some sort of screen to bottom so you don't scorch your can...just a thought. Be easy!

Won't the coal burn through that or overheat the surface when it's placed down?

Nope...Plus it is doubled layered because I used the top of the can on the bottom. Also, I'm not letting the coals set in there for long periods of time. I use a silicone *** holder (Dollar Store or Walmart) on my table to set the holder down to cool after placing coals.

I just use one of these from the thrift store... so the wife doesn't beat me with a frying pan for using her good ones. i think i paid 50 cents for it.
