Default Cancer

Recently my Mother was diagnosed with liver cancer, Hemochromatosis. Doctors say she doesn't have much time left to live. Unknowingly my Mother said she was supposed to pass away on my Brothers birthday, which was a couple months ago, and it just scares the hell out of me. As of now this road has been tough for myself and my mothers. She is only 37. Jaundice is beginning to work around her body. Sorry for the vent i just had to get it out there. I know cancer is everywhere, families, strangers, and friends. If you've gone through fighting cancer with your family. You'll be in my prayers as i know it's tough.

That is a lot to handle, make sure you have a good support system in place, and talk to them as well as us. it helps a ton.

I really am truly sorry to read your post. I've lost 4 people to cancer in the past. No words from me can give you solace, I know this. But, for the record I do care and will say prayers for you and yours. If ever you need an ear, I am here.

im sorry man. I know how you feel; my grandma died of cancer when I was in middle school. she was 65. she had lung cancer, and went through chemo, but it spread to her whole body including her brain and took her rather quick. Its tough, but you'll get through it. I know, however, that this is your mom, and that would be a lot more difficult. Best wishes.

i honestly haven't experienced the cancer scenario, but my grandmother went through the hospital on extremely painful terms, and the thought of losing her like that was more than i could handle, 17 year old at the time yelling at doctors.. i am truly sorry, im sure its stressful on the highest terms, and ill keep her in my thoughts man. spend all the time possible with her and hold no regrets

I'm sorry you have to go through this. I spent 2 weeks with my grandfather while he was on a chemo pump and that was by far the hardest 2 weeks of my life. It's a terrible thing to go through.

I'm sorry to hear about this. I have lost my grandma due to lung cancer and my aunt due to breast cancer. Just keep your head up keep being strong. Whenever you are around your mom don't let her see that you are depressed

Lifting up you and yours. Lost my father to heat disease, then 4 months later my younger brother due to lung cancer. It's hard, I feel your pain.

I lost my mom last year to brain cancer. It was tough traveling (Louisiana to Ohio), and handling all of her care/finances/etc (she had no one else), but it was worth every second. Charish these last moments with her. Try to have some fun if she is up for it.

You and her are too young for such a thing as this... prayers be with you.
