go to the sink put the water and put the water knob on hot and run it through the hose....do the same thing hold both of thew holes and shake the hose a little bit like play around with it while the hot water is in it lol. then let the water spill out.

But what goes unknown is the amount of tobacco particulates and reactive buildup that accumulate inside that hose as it is used. Condensation from smoking creates moist surfaces on the interior of the hose. Then as you're smoking, the moist interior rusts the hose coil and collects particles that eventually dry up. When the hose is bent when put away and taken out and moved around while smoking, these tiny particulates become loose later to be inhaled by the smoker. These particulates are no doubt unhealthy, but can also cause displeasing odors to linger inside the hose, discomfort to the smoker and throat irritation.

if its not washable this can make it worse
buy a razan/nammor/grand
theyre completely washable
if your trying to save money try the al fakher washable hoses. they run for only about $3 and you can wash them out

yeah i wouldn't try washing anything unless you know it's a washable hose. i have 2 hoses from a chinese that i'm pretty sure are not washable, but i haven't tried.

That happened to me when I smoked out of my friends pipe. You could also try those filter mouth tips but a washable hose is the better solution.
