Default KM hookahs

i've been smoking a fumari road warrior hookah for about a year. i love it, but the craftsmanship/welding could be better, it's a 1 hose hookah, and my razan hose makes it tip.
after looking at bradedup's youtube videos, i'm scoping out KM hookahs.
( have my sights on this one http://www.thehookah.com/khalil-mamo...r-blue-38.html )
was hoping someone here has used 2 or 3 hose KM hookahs and could answer a couple of questions.
does it have autoseal and if so, is the bearing removable? does it hinder the draw like in inhlae hookahs?

thanks. i'll try to stick around and contribute with what i knowledge i have

edit: looks like i should have used the search function first. found my answers in a review thread. doh!

that particular site charges a shitton for their stuff and a new shipment of KMs just hit stateside. HookahCompany will have 2-3 hose KMs from the new cargo crate up on their site soon at (probably) lower prices.

Haha so all your Qs are answered then? I d be happy to help with anything.

The double pear looks shaweet.

Just an FYI;

1. Tri metal stems seem to be built "sturdier" so you may want to look into that, but you should be extremely happy with any KM you buy.

2. hookahcompany.com is supposedly getting in their multihose KMs this week, so you may want to hold off and see if they get anything different or if they are gonna undercut hookah company in price on similar things.

^_^ g'luck.

The nice thing about thehookah.com tho, is you end up getting free shipping when you order a hookah, because its free at 150$, whereas HC does shipping by weight, so it gets expensive when you order a hookah.

But HC has a 15% discount i believe, whereas thehookah.com only has 10%

Just go with a one hose dude, Its cheaper, and it will serve you just as well, if not better. Passing the hose isnt a bad thing

you shouldnt smoke at the same time as the other hose, for it wont produce the same amount of smoke and you will fight the other smoker for smoke, so just get a single and pass.

ive always told my friends the same when i take them to get a hookah. single hose is all you need, just pass it.
i smoke in larger groups sometimes though, and it would be easier on me to divide a table between 2 hoses

is plugging my hose with my finger essential for a 2 hose session (since KM doesnt have autolocking) , or will the draw and smoke be fine without for both sides, provided we never smoke at the same time? how will having 2 hoses effect the purge?
if there really are so many downs to 2 hoses, i might end up with another single hose. i'd like to explore the option though.
thanks!

you got to cover the hose while not smoking i never see why someone needs to have the hose in hand while not smoking

U have to cover the hose while the other person is smoking. In order to purge out the check valve the hose also needs to be covered, but if you don't cover you can just purge via the other hose and no covering is needed.

Me personally like to have one hose per 2-3 people, so usually this means one her per that amount, but i do occasionally use my egyptian multihose.

would having a rubber plug over the second hose port make it perform just like a 1 hose? or will there be some differences in draw?
i've seen some hookahs that allow you to remove parts to make the hookah shorter. is that possible with hookah i linked? i absolutely love that base design, but i may not always need something that tall

Nope, KM stems are all one piece. If you add anything to close any of the hose ports it will not affect the draw negatively in anyway, you just won't be able to purge unless you unplug it.

KM stems are one solid piece, so no making it shorter.

And as long as the plus pn the spare hose port is air tight, it should function just like a one hose.

The KM multihose do have purge valves but there's no point in using it if you have the second hose plugged in. I just tell the person on the other hose to unplug so I could purge. This is on my KM 2 hose dbl pear.

vases do vary slightly, but if it doesnt fit it isnt anything a grommet can't fix.
