Angry coconara coals are dangerous (read into)

so i was down to my last 2 coconara coals today and guess what, they were stuck and wouldnt seperate,so i came up with the clever idea of splitting them with the sharpest knife i have, which didnt turn out well.
RESULTS:
puddle of blood on the floor
1 hour trip to a and e
3 hour wait in a and e
7 days of not washing my left hand

please check out my vids on youtube for homemade hookahs and more

That sucks, but sounds like operator error to me. I think your title is a little misleading and comes off as a slam on coconara. I don't think that's what you mean, but that's how it reads.

Speedy recovery to you

Cacanars suck anyway. Actually the title should be "Guy using sharp knife to seperate coals is dangerous!" LOL

Some consider knives to be sharper and more powerful than human skin: discuss.

that sucks but if you cut your self it is operator error, you should never be able to hurt your self with any tool "by accident" its that your did something wrong.

i cut and or burn my self all the time in the metal or glass studio but its always my fault because i know i was doing something wrong, be it small and unintentional or large mistakes

and your shouldnt be using a knife to pry things apart, that is not what they are intended to do, a knife is a cutting implement, the only way you should "force" a blade through something is "Battoning"(sp) it if the knife is designed to do so where you place the blade on the item (usually used to split small logs) and striking with a piece of wood on the tip side of the item you are battoning

I've used serrated knife to saw, I'd never try to cut coal/wood with reg knife.

Yep, defiantly coconara's fault that you sliced your hand with the knife you were holding.

See that is why Doctors Love operator errors they can then revise their Budgets and plan new more expensive vacations due to your contribution to his holiday fund.

hmmm so the error occured between the knife and the coals

Accidents will happen and someone or something will be blamed

yeah, with my exoticas if i don't have a serrated knife i just try to score the coal 4 times on the top, instead of 8. (4 cuts on the top, and 4 more on another side).

then i just put the whole damn thing on the burner. when it's COMPLETELY heated up i just smack the scored parts of the coals with the knife, or with tongs and BINGO.

I always cut my CH nats in half when they're fully lit wit a small blade from a pocketknife and it works fine for me. Dunno about cocnara's but I would've loved to see the video of you trying to cut them with your sharp knife =P

Definitly the gas station's fault for not telling you their product was explosive. Discuss.
