Default Burning shisha fix

Ok, so i heard that a good fix for a burning shisha preventative is:

Take a piece of tin foil and poke holes only on the edge. then take some more tin foil, fold it into rectangular pieces, curve it, and place it on top. Then take another piece, and poke holes in the middle. This way the heat from the coal is directed from the middle and spread to the edges. I think this would work well for the kinds of shisha that burn easy (Hookah Freak *ahem*)

I was wondering if anyone heard of this or knows of a place that sells a screen that does the same thing? I much rather buy a screen than make it myself. But I will make it and put up a video review soon enough.

I made some diagrams to explain my process (I did my best with paint )

The point of this is that you are creating a buffer of air between the coal and the tobacco. commonly known as the pocket method/ring method.

practice makes perfect... i never use the pocket method... i use heavy duty foil or i use a screen depending on the bowl... ive made bowls so much that it is no longer a problem having heat management. lol do my job manage 25 hookahs at a time... you have to get good quick! lol

better solution is leave a bit more space, use thicker/double foil, and learn better heat management

ya just a touch more space lets you be really lazy. when i light up a bowl now i put my coals at the rim but fully on or just a touch farther, wind cover for a few mins until the smoke gets up, take it off and move the coals and put them just a touch farther out but after that i dont move it much (but i keep them farther to the center so i need to move it some, if i leave them farther out i can be really really lazy)
