Default Contribute to the New Hobo..

Hey ya'll,

We have been a bit absent on the boards since the HoboHookah launch almost 2 years ago. The current Hobo has done well, but its time for us to consider our next iteration...

We have been scoping the boards as well as have received a lot of feedback from Hobo users, and we feel comfortable at this moment that we are going to come out with a product that incorporates all of that feedback.

Of course things like a purge valve and stem length are going to be incorporated. A tray...well not yet, but you know that may happen once we get a tray we feel is appropriate for the best, beat it up, travel hookah.

So, as we finalize the design: Hobo users - What would you change? or what do you want us to keep the same? And for those who think they could see themselves smoking a Hobo some day, what would you want changed, added or subtracted for you to join the clan?

Cheers everyone. Its been a fun ride, and now its time to really make something different...

Honestly, I would buy this hookah over the witch if it was fairly priced. $60 is too much for what it is.

coming from the perspective of a manufacturer i understand how much parts cost to make, i've not been able to take a look up close at one of these, but seeing as how they are all metal and high-temp rubber i know they arent cheap to produce especially if they're being made stateside due to cost of machining and rubber molds...that being said, the price doesnt bother me so much.

personally, maybe a interchangable stem? like where the downstem will unscrew and you can put a longer or shorter one on depending on what size bottle you will be using?

definately a purge system of some sort...it's always a nice feature to have.

like i said before, i havent been able to look at one of these in real life, but it looks like you can only use one hose on it (?) so maybe make a port that you can put a standard hose adapter on for use of an aftermarket hose like a Razan?

just some thoughts.

I would buy if the price were lower. I know that's asking a bit but it' essentially part of a hookah. no tray, plastic vase and my other point is that I can only use the hose provided.

I would love to see a hose port that could support normal hoses like my Razans or my nommors. even if it were removable so you could screw on the original hose.

- I think that if you added another option of a 2 hose port stem, along with the single hose.

- stem models with trays made of the same metal you guys use for the stem

- make it possible to use other types of hoses in the Hobo.

- offer the stems by themselves. I would buy one if I could get it for a cheaper price without the Bag/Bowl/Hose/Tongs; this would of course require a hose port fix.

If you added a tray, and added another hose port, I would buy one.

lack of a Purge valve/multi hose adapter is honestly the only thing keeping me from buying one.

I love the hobo already along with most of the suggestions here. I'd recommend a changeable smaller stem or screw-off kind so you can fit it in even smaller bottles, like those $1 water bottles.

i'm not sure if the hose is washable on that thing, but if it's not, then make it washable.

i'd definately suggest getting an ashtray too.

the purge valve idea is a great one.

and you know, i think it's a bit expensive to pay $60.00 for that much of a hookah. maybe a hookahpro discount?!
