Default I fail at Tangiers F-Line...

Got some orange soda. using CH naturals and either a small chinese funnel or a MN small Glass phunnel...

I've tried 2 different packing styles on youtube....first being just a tight back below the rim. The 2nd being overloading the bowl, putting foil on top of the mound, pushing down on it to create a tight pack, then stretching the foil across the bowl.

I've gotten a little flavor with a decent amount of smoke, no buzz, but most of the time it just goes bad.

The way i set up is over packing the bowl about a 1/4 of a inch over the bowl packed but still has room to breathe, to layers of foil with tight seal and big tooth pick hole to the bottom, he's the kicker its going to be harsh at first at least for me its like that, after about 30 mins or so it starts to get smooth. i use about 3 Nats. Ill do a video when i get back home, in case you are still having problems.

Do you scoop with the bowl? Or do you just pinch and drop it in? You dont push down on the shisha much?

I still dont see why tangiers doesnt burn by touching the foil lol.

I pack with my figures and give it a gentle push down, while packing so that its still loose some what. then when its over the bowl some put the foil on, and take my time poking the holes. Yeah it burns for a little bit but when it gets going it heavenly. Oh i purge after every pull for the first 30 mins. Forgot about that.

Have you tried to acclimate the tobacco? Spread some out on tinfoil and let it sit out for a few hours...

Yep. It sat out for atleast 12hrs spread out on foil. And i let it sit out for 15-20 before final packing and smoking.

Im using 2-3 CH naturals.

One thing i havent done is "push through" the harshness...

This thread is helpful. I'll try it again and report back to you guys!

Yeah I use cocos and cut them in half so I can keep them on the rim better

but there is no real pushing through the harshness

if you go to just one CH and notice its still harsh.. most likely mean u didnt pack it tight enough.. just take of the tin foil and press dwn

^^Should. You'll probably need 2 CH to get it started, then you can take one off if it gets too harsh.

Also, try letting it acclimate a little (like 10-15min) before you pack the bowl.

if it smells properly when you are about to pack, you dont need to acclimate.

it should provide good flavor and clouds. it does for me. im sure others here will argue forever.

I'll try it, but everything else i smoke in the small phunnel (non glass) takes atleast 2.

Maybe i will cut the coconara in half and use 2 1/2s....

No but if u go to one and its still harsh... then you know it was a bad pack...
