Default cleaning the brass heart?

I recently saw a thread about cleaning brass tarnish out of the stem. That all make sense, but if you've got a brass heart, how would you go about cleaning it? I ask considering there isn't really a great access point. I'm also assuming the heart is solid brass.

Ive got a common chamber brass syrian as well, I have never been able to scrub the heart. I shall await an answer as well.

Don't know if it'll help, but I just recently scrubbed my Dual Tone KM with a brillo pad. Fine steel wool mesh, with some cleaning agents. Took the tarnish right off. Just gotta be careful with the wool pad, can't scrub too hard or it'll scratch it

I think he meant on the inside.

I like the tarnished look on the outside

I want to know this as well. I'm sure there are some cleaning agents that can clean out the insides with in a few washes.

and for Chrisiscool, i use a paper towel with some noxon 7 metal polish then i buff it with a microfiber cloth. i think the brillow pad would be risky imo, how did it work out?

So do the KM trimetals have common or noncommon chambers? I'm never sure on this one.

the brillo pad worked fine for the outside. Just don't scrub too hard, you'll scratch it. But nothing that can't be buffed out with polish.

i take a piece of metal wooly, get it stuck to a pulled hanger, and drag it through back and forth the inside. (i have no common chambers though)

Half a lemon and salt also works and no scratching

We use a homemade paste to clean our copper bottom pots and pans.I wonder if it would work on brass
1/2 cup vinegar
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon of salt
If I remember correctly that is the recipe. You may have to adjust to your liking.
