Default Single Burner Question

So I've seen people using coil style burners to heat up their coals and was just wondering, and if this is a stupid question I'm sorry. Would this "hot plate" work the same as a coil type burner?

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=5871070

If not where would be the best place to get one? I tried target but no luck. Thanks!

walgreens is the place to get the coil burners. I picked up a 1000 watt one for 19.00 bucks. not sure how easy they would lite with the plate burner.

Well sadly I just looked and the closest Walgreens is 55 minutes away from me. I might just order one online. Unless anybody knows of other places?

That one is 10 bucks and the shipping is like 6 but are those coils too far apart?

yeah you are definitely better off getting that coil burner, it is the same one that everyone uses. I am pretty sure Nazar Hookah actually sells them too. I have the same exact one also, and I am sure most people that use hot plates have that one. I have seen it in multiple videos.

hot plates take FOREVER to start a coal.

electric does it in 5 minutes...

depending on your fire, you can get that baby lit up quick.

buy the cheap 8 dollar walgreens coil.

i've seen them at walmart, cvs, walgreens, and target. they really are the way to go. try making a coil stove windcover out of a metal coffee can to get coals lit even faster.

Yes I agree that you need to go with a single coil burner. As for the one at Walgreens, I also own this model. It is good quality and heats up very quickly. I know it is only 10 bucks, but they could really sell it for more and it would still be a good deal.
