OMG. OMG. I made it...
it the best shisha i've ever tasted. not harsh at all, like eating chocholate. Smoked right away. 1st hit was thick smoke.
smoking it right now.
Now i have to see how long it lasts

Edit1: 40 mins and still tastes chocholate. Not at all harsh (and i didnt even move the coal) smoke is as desne as AF. but it lacks the bazz completly. I guess ive washed the tobacco a bit more than i should. Still asskickin' xD

ugh im getting angry i have searched almost everywhere in my city trying to find glycerine.... walmarts, cvs's, walgreens, natural remedy stores.... everywhere all they have are the "glycerine bullets" u know the kind you dont wanna get... lol its so awkward looking for this stuff too... cuz they allways take me to the laxative section and look at me funny :X i hate it lol but i will find it... and if not i guess ill just order it online... i really wanna find a place close by to get it... so i dont have to order it online all the time... however i know i will find it as soon as i place the order for the glycerine online... that always happens to me...

You can find them at the section where flour, sugar and baking stuff are, probably in large supermarkets. The bottles a very very small, like miniatures. They are about 40ml. There werent many different flavours but maybe in the US you could find more.
The only problem is that i has a sour taste. with chocholate, it was helping the flavour (was more like cocoa flavour). In strawerry that sour flavour was not that good. The shisha smelled great, like the room was full of mashed strawberries but it had a sour taste to the tounge...
My shisha actually smoked better that pro shisha. When i placed the first coals on the bowl, there was thick smoke which lasted for the whole session. At about 1 hour we stopped cz the flavour was gone. The smoke never got harsh but at about 45-50 minutes the taste/smell starterd to become subtle. That was my bes shot up to now on shisha-making and am not gonna stop here.

Cheers

Alright! i found my first bottle of glycerine at a health food stoer... its a 16 ounce bottle... of vegatable glycerine, also i got my first batch of shisha to smoke very well but now flavor i think that might of been because i left it in the freezer it probobly was in humidity shock... however it did smoke quite well...

so far what ive done, i had a bad batch of al waha, so i washed it... a couple of times to get the flavoring out, and other things...

ive been adding flavoring along with water...

and something i think that will sweeten the smoke/flavor of the shisha this time im not leaving it in the freezer soon i hope to develope some good flavorful smoke... ill post more info later...

Using shelf products is the best way. a few drops were enough with the chocholate i made. Food flavourings and Flavouring essences work great. you can really taste the flavour and the whole room smells great. the selection of flavour is really limited to me,though. I tried to find them through the web but i can only find wholesale. my only chance is a bakery or somehing like that, where they use it, and ask if they could sell me some...

adding coffee grounds doesnt work so well. the smoke was just about flavorless unless i took a big hit, then it had a nasty tangy taste similar to puke mixed with the taste of heated up coffee grounds. needless to say that session lasted all of 20 minutes. ill be trying to find these essences soon. pbpreadator what are you using to sweeten it up?

i think if you use different ester combinations.. basically change the number of carbon and hydrogen atoms you get different flavors. i use to have a website tht has a bunch of different premade ones but then my hard drive crashed.. i will try to find it again

I just got a tobacco leaf from the market.. 'coz here in the Philippines they sell it per leaf... but i heard you can use pipe tobacco like DRUM brand tobacco, the one sold in a bag, you can find it in any cigar store, i think... the glycerin that i used was the one you can buy on the baking section of groceries, the edible ones, glycerin taken from vegetables... i almost bought glycerol the ones for constipation, good thing i went to the grocery first... i followed the percentage that the writer mentioned 25% for glycerin, 25% for honey, 20% for flavoring (i tried using McCormick by the way) and 30% tobacco... example:

2 1/2 jigger - Glycerin
2 1/2 jigger - Honey
2 jigger - Chocolate flavoring
300 grams - Tobacco

and for the mint i just placed 5 Altoids in the water, and its good to go...

If you've mixed your own shisha let us know Rehab... thanks again for the recipe...
