Default Dried Nakhla

So I have a question:

I have some Nakhla Double Apple tobacco that is about a year old; it's dried out but still has a bit of the smell. I want to liven it up; give it some taste, make it wet (God that sounds kinky), and then of course use it.

What should I use/do?

mix in some vegetable glycerin or honey or both. You'll be fine.

Thank you for the response.

So assuming that I use glycerin, is there anything else I can add that will enhance the flavor?

I saw a website in the UK that offers flavor shots, but I have no interest in ordering them especially when their currency is almost double mine. Any ideas?

yup.. Ronin jumped on that quick, but yea any wet tobacco like that, that dries out just use some glycerin and it should for the most part be as good as new.

there are drops u can get to ''enhance'' or otherwise alter the flavor of your moassel but I consider such things blasphemy. If you just want to get it smoking honey/glycerin is the way to go.

With Nakhla, i would recommend honey, with glycerine it turns almost into a mizo type of Nakhla, which is nice, but honey helps it keep its normal texture. But with almost any other shisha i would reccomend glycerine. Flavor wise, i would get some black licorice extract and some apple extract. a drop of BL and two of apple and it should taste wonderful

honestly i found that even "dry" nakhla smokes fine, unless it is really dry to the point that its just a solid chunk and doesnt have much give to it you should be good. i got a thing of bahrini (total wrong spelling but you get what im saying) apple that seemed pretty dry and i put it in a bag and mixed it up and it was fine.

nakhla DA is an amazing flavor. any attempt to alter such greatness should be considered an abomination.

I have a 250 of Nakhla mint that needs a bit added but I don't want to harm the flavor.

the mint usually is kinda dry IIRC (ive had mine for a few months and its getting a bit low so its hard to remember how it was new).

but to wet that mint you might just want to use some mint extract, gives it more mint instead of just mentholish flavor,

I believe it was Dunkel that said this, but use honey with Nakhla. I believe it reserves the flavor more.

There's also a mix that already has the Molasses, Glycerine, and Honey in it...

just throwing that one in there...

I personally use a little of each. I find vegetable glycerine and honey doesn't change the flavor at all.

Think Nakhla uses Molasses and Glycerin Not honey
