Default The Temperature Sensitivity of Tobacco

Well its finally warming up here in Pittsburgh and this got me wondering. Is there an optimum temperature shisha tobacco should be kept at? I live in an apartment without air conditioning and for the past monthes I've just been storing my stash under my bed in a box. But now with warm weather I'm wondering if I should find a cooler place to store it? I'm really not too concerned about the stuff that is unopened but I'm worried about the heat speeding up the drying out of the stuff that I have opened( which is in plastic wrap inside ziplock bags). Do I really have anything to worry about? How bad is for the tobacco to be kept at 80-90 degrees? I didn't have this problem last summer because I was still living at home and our house was air conditioned.

dont keep it in the fridge! thats the worst you can do.
it will exhaust the flavor!

keep your tobacco in a lower room temperature. about 20C (~ 70F ?!?) should be best for your tobacco.

Fridges are dehumidifiers by design. It means they will remove all the moisture in your tobacco and that is not good, since hookah tobacco needs to be moist.
