Exclamation Grommet issue

My hose grommet got stuck in my hose port. It is about an inch into my hoseport and now i cant fit my nice hose in there, ive been using a shitty mya hose lately because thats the only thing that fits. . . anyone have any idea on how i could get that hose grommet out of my hose port?

have you tried a flat screw driver or a scratch awl?

Trust me i dont care the hookah is a clearence treasure from SSC in the first place

i use the poker rod on the back of my tongs to get the grommets out of my sahara cyclone. works every time...

Have you tried a toothpick? That's what I use when it gets stuck in there. No fear of scratching.

I would try something made of wood, a wooden bbq skewer would be good.

take a piece of wire (hanger works well) and stick it in to the port on the inside of the grommet, put the bottom of the wire past the bottom of the grommet and push on to the side of the port and pull back, you can hook the end a bit if you want.

also a butter knife can some times be used to leverage it out but if its to far down it wont work well

i wire trick seems to be the best IMHO, has the chance of damaging the grommet but ive never had the issue (knock on wood)

i figured that out then my grommets where jamed in my crappy rotator, just used the other end of the straight hanger that i used to push a paper towel through to dry it out

or run a jet of hot water thru the side opposite the hose
